What is EGPRS network?



EGPRS, or Enhanced GPRS, refers to an evolution of the GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology within GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) networks. It is also commonly known as EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution). EGPRS is designed to provide higher data transfer rates and improved spectral efficiency compared to GPRS, making it suitable for data-intensive applications and services.
