Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal Launches Free Roaming Service for Mumbai and Delhi MTNL, BSNL to charge Rs.1 per day

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd ( MTNL ) today announced the official launch of free roaming service between Mumbai and Delhi for postpaid and prepaid mobile customers , which will be available on this day ie Republic January 26, 2014 without charge as shared earlier.

Union Minister Kapil Sibal Telecom today announced MTNL Roaming Free in a press conference in Mumbai, with the launch of Free Roaming between Mumbai and Delhi MTNL has 35.75 lakh 2G and 3G mobile customers can enjoy incoming calls unlimited free while roaming own circles (Mumbai / Delhi ) without reloading or STV , all outgoing calls will be charged to customers existing plan .

Apart from MTNL , BSNL will launch a new national roaming unlimited free incoming calls while roaming in India , but customers will have to pay Rs.1 per day to take advantage of free roaming facility that will be announced soon .
MTNL is a provider of public telecommunications services operating in underground circles – Mumbai and Delhi.
Currently, all mobile service provider , including private telecom operators like Airtel , Vodafone, Idea etc Reliance roaming plans that provide for a Rs.5 monthly or daily departure tax , people get all incoming calls without roaming charges.
While MTNL Mumbai client will not have to pay any fee or daily fee / month for roaming calls when traveling in Delhi, and the same procedure will apply for customers Delhi.
