Open loop and close loop testing in LTE

Here I write short notes on how to test open loop and close loop testing in lte and what idea behind it. In open loop no any data send back and in closed loop all relevant data available to both side lets check in some detail.

Open and close loop testing in LTE:

Open loop test where no test receiver sends feedback information source is sufficient to prove the fundamental characteristics of the individual components in the receiver and is also a first step in validating algorithms baseband demodulation section. However, complete verification.

Overall performance testing in real conditions receiver require closed loop through a channel off. Closed-loop test packets lost packets are re transmitted using incremental redundancy based on real-time information from the receiving confirmation.

Modulation and coding used for transmission also based on real-time information from the receiver. This feedback can be optimized for sub bands overall bandwidth channel to enable frequency selective scheduling.
